SING, EAT & TALK - NATURE AS A PEOPLE'S ISSUE
Ribe Youth Folk High School is participating in the project with community singing events that focus on nature.
With funds from the 15. June Foundation, a number of high schools across the country have been given the opportunity to delve into songs about and in nature for the next three years. At Ribe Youth Folk High School we are so lucky to have become part of this project. You can look forward to a number of fine and free community singing events here at the high school – the first will be in March 2026. The two high school teachers Jonas Uldall and Dorethe Holmstrup will be the hosts of the events.
SING, EAT AND TALK – NATURE AS A PEOPLE'S ISSUE WILL:
- Focus on nature and our shared responsibility for it
- Strengthen community across generations through singing and eating together.
- Bringing people together who would otherwise not meet
- Strengthen the community in the local community by allowing the colleges to open their doors
- Make singing a gathering point
- Create green community songs that can create a language that can give new generations an understanding of the nature we must preserve.
