The board of directors is the highest formal authority of Ribe Youth Folk High School. The board consists of 7 people who are elected at the general meeting in June.

The 2025 general meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 17th at the college.
Members of the board are elected from the school's student body, which consists of people with an interest in the youth college.
The board hires and dismisses the principal, approves the curriculum and course plan, and sets the framework for the finances.
The board of directors meets approximately 7 times throughout the year.

Folk High School's history dates back to 1895 and the board of directors is focused on ensuring that the college continues to be an attractive option for young people.
