Meet an international student at UHR
In the video below, Israeli Liona tells us that she wanted to start her education here in Denmark – and that she needed to improve her Danish before that dream could come true.
Transscription of video:
“I think my Danish has improved very much. It’s easier to have a conversation now. Before, it took me very long to find the right words — and build a sentence. I would speak English instead as it was too difficult to say what I wanted. But now, speaking Danish comes to me naturally. All my new friends speak to me in Danish, and I just respond in Danish as well. I feel ready to start my Danish youth education programme now. First of all, my Danish is much better and also, I feel ready to take responsibility for doing my very best.”
