In addition, we dive into a melting pot of directions, trends and subcultures that revolve around hip hop, advertising, social media, politics, sex and much more. After understanding the genre better we will do our own street art at school based on your ideas.

Graphic Sewing

+

Graphic Sewing is actually patchwork sewing with a modern twist. Patchwork is an old technique where you sew smaller pieces of fabric together into larger pieces, e.g. blankets and tablecloths. The fabric patches are typically cut into various geometric shapes before being sewn together in decorative patterns. We are going to make patterns with a sharp graphic expression which can be used as fabric for bags and purses etc. /Annika

There are no cute paintings or drawings here, instead we will be doing crazy installations that want so much more.

Digital Art

One of the newest directions in art is the digital one. It is manipulative, virtual and uses tools such as AI, AR and VR. It is disfiguring, challenging and nerdy, and challenges the classic approaches to art as we know them. So if you have the courage to throw away pencils and brushes and instead use computers, tablets and smartphones in the creation of art, then this is the subject for you?
